How To Book Your Appointment
Request an Appointment online
You can request an appointment via Anima.
Anima seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record bringing improvements to how you access care and appointments and how our staff assess your condition. While you are still able to call the surgery, the online triage form through Anima will ask you the same questions, streamlining the process. This is another option for our patients to use to contact us about a medical problem, admin request or ask a simple question.
Anima is open for requests between 7:30am and 4:30pm. Anima is closed from 4:30pm, If you have an urgent query between 4:30pm-6:00pm please call the surgery.
Calling the Surgery
Our Receptionists will ask you for a brief outline of your problem when you ring to book an appointment.
This helps us to identify the most appropriate place/person for your care.
We may offer the community pharmacy consultation service if you have a minor illness.
This service may have same day appointments with a community pharmacist. The Pharmacist can refer you to another service if needed.
Urgent but NOT life-threatening
You will receive a telephone call on the day by an on-call doctor or physcians associate. This is a shorter appointment to deal with your urgent issue only.
Please make sure that you have your phone with you to receive the call.
Life Threatening - Go to A&E
Call 999 if you or someone you know has loss of consciousness, a sudden confused state, chest pain, or breathing difficulties etc.
You should call 999 if you or someone you know has a life-threatening condition.
In an EMERGENCY call 999.
Emergencies cannot be managed at home and may be life threatening.
Appointment SMS Reminders
The Practice has a text reminder service for patients who have given us their mobile number. Patients will automatically receive a text with the appointment details. If patient text's back CANCEL their appointment will be automatically cancelled.
